Maverick & Squirt

A single mom & her son moved into a rental home with their 2 adult cats hoping the property owner wouldn’t discover they had 2 cats, which was not allowed. Eventually, she received a notice from her landlord that they would be inspecting her home in person. They put a post on Facebook asking her friends if anyone would be able to help her rehome the cats that were living there. Someone who saw the post reached out to Catlanta Care to see if they might be able to help. 

The cat’s owner was hoping to find someone who would be willing to foster Maverick & Squirt for about 8 months when her lease would be up. Catlanta Care was able to place the 2 adult cats, Maverick & Squirt with a foster who had recently lost her long-time cat and was willing to foster. Shortly after arriving, the foster fell in love with Maverick & Squirt. She said there was no way she would be able to walk away in 8 months. Catlanta Care reached out to Maverick & Squirt’s owner to share that their foster mom was in love and wanted to offer them a forever home.  Wanting what was best for Maverick & Squirt, their original owner agreed to allow their foster mom to permanently adopt them.

Catlanta Care got these two cats fully vetted, spayed & neutered.  Maverick & Squirt are living their very best lives in the lap of luxury. Maverick & Squirts original owner stays in touch with their new mom. Their new mom will send them updates with pictures. They miss Maverick & Squirt but they are grateful that Catlanta Care was able to find them a wonderful forever home.
