TNR Support for Kennesaw Apt. Complex

Christine is a nursing student who reached out for help. She wanted to know how to go about trapping a mom and her kittens that she had been feeding. We provided coaching and helped her develop a plan for trapping. She wanted to get the mom spayed and see if the kittens could be socialized and placed at a rescue for adoption.

• We loaned her traps, a transfer cage, and a feral pod.

• Christine worked with Kudzu Alliance to get spay / neuter TNR appointments at Good Mews

• We provided our garage for the pre and post-appointments.

• We did the drop-off and pick-up of the cats for their appointments at Good Mews.

Christine trapped 2 feral females and 1 male. 1 kitten was 8 weeks old and the other 2 were 12 weeks. The 8-week kitten, Oreo was a successful socialization story, and we were able to place him in a rescue and have him adopted.
