Free Kittens
In August a volunteer saw a post for “free kittens to a good home”. Free kittens are never a good idea. The volunteer reached out to the person who made the post and asked if she would allow us to sponsor the spay/neuter and agree to charge a small adoption fee. The person stated she was helping a friend and would be willing to do this. Unfortunately, she placed all the kittens in new homes before they were fixed but passed our information to them. The mom and two of the kittens were picked up by Community Cat Support Coalition in Cherokee County.
One female, Toast aka Zumi, was adopted and spayed at Good Mews on 9/24/24.
One male, Luke, and a female, Leah, were adopted as well. Leah was spayed on 9/17/24. Catlanta kept the female cats overnight for both owners, handled the drop-off, pickup, and recovery time, and sponsored the costs of their spay. Luke and Leah’s new owner was grateful for the offer for Leah and handled the costs for Luke to get neutered.
