Family Foster #2
We fostered our second family of kittens in the spring of 2017. We got these kittens from the shelter when they were only three days old. Their mother, who we named Diva, was feisty yet incredibly loving. She wanted things on her terms, and we were happy to provide that to her. She was adopted after a year in the shelter.
The first kitten out of the group we named Jasper. Jasper was very calm compared to his siblings. He was a very sweet boy who preferred cuddles over playtime, and that was perfect for us. He was adopted shortly after going to the shelter with another shelter kitten.
The second kitten we named Toby. Toby was the most shy out of the group, but he had so much love to give once he warmed up to you. He was also the biggest out of all of his siblings. He was adopted after a few months at the shelter.
The third kitten, and only female kitten, we named Zelda. Zelda was a playful girl who liked to keep her brothers in check. She liked to run around and chase whatever she could. She was a great kitten who was adopted after shortly after going to the shelter.
Last but not least was Rocket. Rocket was the runt of the litter, who didn’t want to stop drinking milk from his mom even after all of his siblings had weaned. He was so small, when it was time to return to the shelter, he was still too small and had to stay in a foster home for an additional two weeks to gain enough weight to be neutered. He was very vocal and very sweet, and he was adopted not too long after arriving at the shelter.
